Fr. Suarez presides over a packed house and there is healing. The deaf hear and the lame walk. (Fast forward to midway through the video to the healing portion of the service.)
Healing Comes to
St. John of the Cross
The video includes both the Mass and the Healing Service. You will see what being "slain by the Spirit" means

Healing Prayer by
Fr. Fernando Suarez
From Fr. Shannon's music CD,
Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy.
May Your healing Spirit press upon me.
It is through Your power that I was created.
Since You created me from nothing, You can certainly recreate me.
Fill me with the healing power of Your Spirit.
May Your life-giving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul.
Mend what is broken.
Cast out anything that should not be within me.
Rebuild my brokenness.
Restore my strength for service in Your kingdom.
Touch my soul with Your compassion for others.
Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all.
Touch my mind with Your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise.
Teach me to reach out to You in my need and help me to lead others to You by my example.
Most loving heart of Jesus, bring me health in mind and body and spirit, that I may serve you with all my strength.
The Goodness of Suffering
In 1263, a debate took place between the Catholic community and the Jewish community, known as the Barcelona Disputation. Pablo Christiani, a Dominican friar, argued the belief that Jesus was the Messiah, while Moses ben Nahman (known as Nachmanides) argued that He was not. Nachmanides concluded that Jesus could not have been the Messiah because look at the world. Peace and justice do not reign. Violence, wars, persecution, and disease never stopped. There is suffering! Look at the world! Nachmanides won the debate.
The topic of suffering, however, is misunderstood, even among Christians today. In this short piece, I will address the questions: why must suffering exist; why Christ suffered for us; what to do with suffering; and how to use suffering to help others. I will frame this discussion through the lens of our unbound connectedness in the Mystical Body of Christ and its profound implications.

The Bible and Its Formation
Why did Catholics add books to the bible? They didn't. Books that had been included since the very beginning were excluded after the Protestant Reformation.

Are you saved by faith or works? Faith! Then why bother being good?
Discerning the Gospel of Hate
In the absence of truth, people will believe anything, even BS like this. Don't be these people!
